dude it also directly explained that the affected timelines from Takeru's causality (of which there were many since he was in fact an amalgamation of many Takeru's from many worlds. As to why he stops dreaming, I'm pretty sure that had to do with his newfound resolve, he was really and truly determined to save the world and protect what matters, so even when he slept he wasn't being pulled back to his original world. I mean she literally comitted suicide because of that. what? Like seriously what? The game directly explains that Sumika made him the causality conductor, as a brain she wasn't aware of it sure, but there's no reason to believe it stopped when she became the 00 unit. If Yuuhi was alive then either Meiya would stay in Takeru's neighbourhood having no reason to be brought back by the Zaibatsu or if the sisters being together was no longer a problem then she wouldn't be sent there in the first place, thus not meeting Takeru at all and again having to go back there. If you know Meiya's route in EXTRA then there's no reason for Meiya appearing at all at the end along with her sister.

Or am I just overthinking it and Takeru was in fact transported to a world with an even bigger harem for himself? Keeping that in mind I wonder if the gun Yuuko was offering wasn't meant for him as another way out. So he was already out of loopback option without realizing that at all, him being dense and all.īottom line is Takeru was screwed anyway and the fantasy world was created in his head as thanks for saving the world. The 00 Sumika wasn't the source of Takeru being causality conductor, the brain was, meaning he already stopped being one in the middle of the story. You can say he had willpower to do so but notice how he was able to shift only when brainSumika was still alive and after the 00 unit was completed he no longer had any "dreams" about the other worlds. My second argument is that Takeru was no longer able to "jump" to any other world at the end and all the Yuuko's talk was her being considerate in her own way.

The emphasis on honorifics and names is so Japanese and foreign and crazy, but it's a fun part of the puzzle.ĭid he really jumped into modEXTRA world at the end? When I think of it the more it feels like some advanced projection/memory implantation by Kasumi. I was just confused because she burst into tears the second after he addressed her by her last name - so I was reading into it thinking that meant she was upset that he didn't remember her (and thus address her with her first name).

I think she burst into tears of gratitude for Sumika because she brought her into the world. I think maybe I am over analyzing it, and she just burst into tears of gratitude regardless of what name he used and whether he remembered her.Īctually. So basically only she was given the ability to remember everything (only she was shoehorned into this particular universe all together, at least the no longer dead sister existed there originally). The only thing that confused me was when she burst into tears of gratitude when he called her Yashiro, showing that he DIDNT remember her.
